With over 40 years of experience, Robert C. Whitestone is the firm's president. He proudly concentrates his practice in all areas of criminal defense and plaintiff's personal injury work. Bob Whitestone has successfully defended a number of homicide cases, ranging from first degree murder to manslaughter, as well as a great number of other criminal and traffic matters. He has also successfully represented many persons injured by the negligence of others. He has broad experience in both state and federal courts, having tried numerous jury and non-jury cases in all courts in Northern Virginia, as well as a number of other jurisdictions around the Commonwealth.
Mr. Whitestone served as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for Fairfax County from 1969 to 1972, and in 1972 he was selected as a substitute judge for the General District Court of Fairfax County. He also has been a Commissioner in Chancery in the Fairfax County Circuit Court since 1972. He has lectured in criminal law and evidence at Northern Virginia Community College, the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy, and at the George Mason University School of Law.
