We often write about tragic circumstances on our Northern Virginia personal injury blog, but a recent story out of Woodbridge will sadden even the most cynical among us. A woman who loved to ride her motorcycle was in a serious accident about six months ago. She endured enough pain during the aftermath of the accident that she literally didn't leave her house in those six months since then. Recently, though, the mother of two started feeling better and she decided to venture out to walk to a nearby convenience store for a newspaper and a cup of coffee -- the day before her 41st wedding anniversary.
The National Highway Safety Administration recently announced that new regulations for child car safety seats will go into effect in February 2014. The new rule applies to weight limits for car seats in how they can be secured in a vehicle.
