Christmas Eve is typically a holiday where families who celebrate it gather and enjoy spending time together. However, for one Virginia family, the holiday turned into a nightmare. A 19-year-old woman was killed in a car accident on her way to her grandmother's house to celebrate the holiday. The driver of the vehicle faces numerous criminal charges resulting from the accident.
One person is dead and another is in critical condition following a serious multi-car crash in Suffolk on Dec. 12, according to local sources. Virginia authorities had to close down Route 460 following the car accident. It is currently unclear what caused the crash, which is still under investigation by local authorities. No charges have yet been filed.

One woman in a neighboring state is suing a nursing home for the wrongful death of her sister.
